Connect your AI agent
quote-to-invoice provides a remote MCP server for agents to work with your clients, services, quotes and invoices using a personal scoped key.
Updated 21 October 2026. Connection details as of October 2026.
How do I connect my agent?
Create a personal agent key in Settings, then configure your MCP client to use the endpoint below with a Bearer authorization header. This connection is for clients that support remote MCP over HTTP; it is not an anonymous public API.
Endpoint: https://quote-to-invoice.com/api/mcp
Transport: Streamable HTTP, POST. GET and DELETE return 405.
Choose the access your agent needs
read: read your account’s supported business records. Every key includes this scope.write: additionally permit supported mutations, subject to account access checks and tool validation.
Keys act only on their owner’s records. Keep the key private and revoke it in Settings when no longer needed. Writes require the versions returned by reads; tools that require confirmation reject calls without confirm: true.
Try an initialization request
Set AGENT_KEY locally to your personal key, then run this request. It initializes the protocol without creating or changing a business record.
curl --request POST https://quote-to-invoice.com/api/mcp --header "Authorization: Bearer $AGENT_KEY" --header 'Content-Type: application/json' --header 'Accept: application/json, text/event-stream' --data '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"initialize","params":{"protocolVersion":"2025-03-26","capabilities":{},"clientInfo":{"name":"my-agent","version":"1.0.0"}}}'A successful response contains the negotiated protocol version and server capabilities. Your MCP client can then discover the available tools with tools/list.
